Games that are easy to pick up and hard to put down
Raiding Party Games is a small, independent game publisher focusing on
raiding party games from people, having a party in which one plays games
that involve raiding, or the sorts of games that a raiding party would play.
We enjoy long walks on the beach, plunder, and making out with yer womenfolk.
Seriously, our goal is to make lots of small, easily accessible games...
the sort that almost anyone could get into, afford, and find the time for.
It all started when a young goblin first learned the joys of raiding.
Ahem. The founder, Zachary Anderson, came up with a basis for Mad
Scientist University in 2001. His friends convinced him to try out game
design, and actually pitched the product to a few publishers in 2003.
He failed miserably, and took up a life of piracy!
Not quite, but no companies wanted to pick it up until it was a proven
quantity. So he figured a few different angles, and decided to go it alone.
He founded Raiding Party Games in 2004, caught his mascot easily
DID NOT!
Oh come on, you were captured with cookies.
I loveded those cookies... you still owe me a cookie.
Anyway, he and some other Raiding Party Gamers took the game to Origins
2004, had the worst and best time possible, and ended up selling every core set
he printed. There was also a psycho kitty and bunny involved, but we'll get
into that later.
They were delicious.
Raiding Party Games is currently focused on building Mad Scientist
University as a base of covert operations with which to perform future raids.
We owe loads of thanks to Patrick McKinley for his time and effort in game
development,

(Shh!) Stephen Oppelt for the fantastic web design, and a shipload
of other people who we'll mention in an upcoming thanks page.
For Customers: We offer inexpensive, quick, fun, and easy-to-get-into games.
For Distributors: I'm sorry to say, we can't get there yet because we haven't
hit mass production yet. When we do, we're definitely including you in the
chain.
For Retailers: The games are easy to pitch (we sold over 100 items at Origins,
all previously unknown products), and we're happy to send out demo packs to any
real or virtual store.
